Managing Director

Andrew Trim flies under the radar in the Real Estate Industry, yet is one of the most knowledgeable when it comes to profitable Real Estate businesses. 

Author of Real Estate Dangers, Andrew started his first agency over 30 years ago in South East Queensland. Since then, he has expanded his business, now as the Managing Director of the Smartre Group, consisting of not just Smartre Training, but 7 Residential Agencies, a substantial Property Management Business, as well as a Commercial Arm. All in all, his organisation employs over 80 team members. 

With his leadership and guidance, Andrew has personally helped hundreds of Agency Principals across the country implement effective business structures, assist with making financial decisions and regularly advises on how to profitably expand your business.

Andrew is our main presenter of the Smartre Management Seminar and the annual Leadership Seminar, but he’s also directly contactable if you ever need advice or support.

Adam Horth
Sales Director

At his core, Adam Horth is a salesman. Beginning his real estate career at the age of 19, since then Adam’s obsession for real estate sales has only continued to grow.

Adam’s career in real estate saw him achieve outstanding results, yet it wasn’t until 2012, when he launched his agency in Ipswich, QLD, that he truly found his calling. Within 6 years, his agency was number one in the area, and he had helped develop a team of high-performing agents.

As his team grew, so did Adam’s desire to share his knowledge and love of sales. When the opportunity to join Smartre Training as a director and trainer arose, it was an obvious answer.

Adam’s focus at Smartre Training is on the sales training and the management of salespeople. He is also the Operations Director within the Smartre Group. This role has him implementing the Smartre System into his own agencies, still to this day, ensuring it meets the challenges our clients are facing.

Leaders who run teams and are listing and selling often rely on Adam for advice and direction. It’s here that Adam provides invaluable insight and actions that have the most impact.

Peter Tran
Head of Implementation

In what can only be described as a true ‘rags to riches’ story, Peter Tran found his calling in Real Estate in 2003.

Starting as a salesperson, before going on to open his own agency, Peter now also works within Smartre Training as the Head of System Implementation and Salesperson Development.
Peter has built his career on systems - systems that first gave him success as a salesperson, and then in his own agency.

Peter has an incredible ability to take leaders and salespeople from mediocre to excellent. When joining Smartre Training, Peter works closely alongside new clients with our 13-stage Implementation program. This close mentorship is something you can always expect from Peter.

As well as Implementation, his passion to develop junior salespeople is unmatched. Peter runs our monthly Foundations Meetings, ensuring that rookie salespeople are started off on the right foot with the right attitude and direction.

Tracey Lake
Head of Property Management

With over 30 years of experience in Property Management, Tracey Lake brings deep expertise and a proven leadership track record to her role.

Having owned her own agency for the majority of her career, Tracey has developed one of the best examples of a Property Management business in the country.

Alongside her partners, Tracey built her business to 900 managements through organic growth, before taking it to almost 15,500 managements with acquisitions. Tracey achieved all of this whilst retaining the highest of standards for service and client care.

Tracey’s ability to build teams, create culture, and maintain operational excellence is what now fuels her mission at Smartre Training.

In her current role, Tracey leads our Property Management training and development, working closely with Leaders of Property Management teams to improve structure, systems, and team performance. She is especially passionate about developing the next generation of leaders within Property Management.

Tracey delivers seminars, runs online training events, as well as working one-on-one with leaders of Property Management departments.

Matt Tyler
Agency Development
